It's always a challenge to direct films about terminal illness, but to be trusted by the Starkey family to tell their story as well as to spend time with Matthew over the last months of his life was a real privilege.
My thoughts go out to the Starkey family. Matthew was a remarkable man who handled the last days of his life with incredible dignity, drive, and humour - as did the wider family as a whole.
